Jazz watched him swim away and then come back to where he was in front of her. She had a million questions she wanted to ask him but all she could do was stare helplessly. Placing her palm flat against the glass she moved closer. He was unlike anyone she had met before. She knew all too well what it was like to feel trapped with nowhere to go. Her other palm reached out to the glass as well, fingers slowly curling inwards. “Like palace walls”she whispered.

He didn’t know why, but the cerulean haired male felt a connection to the woman, and he really didn’t know why. Usually, he hated people, but he couldn’t bring himself to hate her… and he didn’t even know who she was. He was a little bit disappointed there was really no way to talk to her— Or was there? Maybe, just maybe he could pull out a conversation. There was a door just a little ways that led to all the tanks, maybe he could talk to her from there. Looking around, he made sure no one was looking and pointed there, before swimming off to meet her not really giving anything else more of a clue that he wanted her to go in there.

She wasn’t sure how to communicate with the guy, well he was more of merman it seemed. Jazz had never met one before, only read about them. She waved at him with a sad smile, he was stuck in there caged.

As curious as she was about him, he was about her. He was a bit of a show off, so that happened as he trailed along the side of the tank, then back to where she was. He really disliked people, but he really didn’t mind when he knew that they weren’t there to hurt him, or they felt bad for him, because he could see it all in her face.

Jazz stared at the sight before her confused and puzzled. She had never seen anything like this. “Um…”

Adrian blinked at the stranger, scaled hands pressing against the glass as he inspected her. She looked like she hadn’t seen anything like him before— But then again, she probably didn’t.

It had been a normal day unlike any other in G-block of the prison, the deadmen doing their usual routines except for one inmate and herself who were against each other in this week’s Carnival Corpse. It wasn’t that much of a fight considering the inmate had been cocky over their branch of sin, and she was determined not to lose another fight. Not after the embarrassment of losing to the likes of Ganta Igarashi- an idiot.

But she redeemed herself for that pitiful excuse for a fight and won today’s, not without injury though. Bandages could be seen covering her bicep and shoulder to the upper part of her chest and despite how heavy they made her feel, she did her routine walk around the floor. She couldn’t pass up this freedom to enjoy the silence this floor hadn’t seen ever since the earthquake on the day of her last match, and with Yoh staying in her room she needed the alone time more than ever.

Turing the corner she could see the silhouette of someone and her facial features faded into an annoyed look, no one was ever really out around this time except for the occasional guard doing their rounds. She assumed today would be the day she wasn’t able to ignore them. As the person grew closer she could make out their shape didn’t exactly match someone who was wearing a guard suit… so maybe another inmate?

In a matter of seconds she could see them perfectly and they weren’t wearing any collar or even a jumpsuit like her brothers, and she immediately could heat rise to skin as her her blood started to boil. “Who the fuck are you?” she asked with a harsh tone.

Adrian was minding his own business and once again, he had been moved to another section of this prison that he still wasn’t too happy to be in. Well— any place he wasn’t happy to be in, but that wasn’t the point right now. The tailed man kept himself occupied or at least tried to, counting the fake brightly colored rocks at the bottom of his tank. Why would they make them so bright!? They were hurting his eyes! Huffing, he tried not to make himself in any more of a bad mood, and that suddenly changed when he had heard someone walk down the corridor where he was.

Swimming back up to the glass, he pressed himself against it, only to see a female there. This was the first time in the prison that he had seen a girl, but being here, she was probably dangerous, but he was still curious, so he really couldn’t help himself but to stare, he did it to everyone, he just hoped she knew that.

“So that’s how ya speak.” Crow smiled, tapping his forehead lightly. Now he knew why the merman’s lips never moved, aside from forming expressions. “Why, it’s not a joke at all~.” The stocky male bounced forward, fingers grazing the cool exterior of the fish cage. “Tamaki’s makin’ a big move in G-ward soon. I’ll be making mine in return.” He bore his teeth in a wild grin, licking the pearly whites. “Less an’ less people c’mere each day. Don’tcha wonder why that is?”

“I guess…?” he responded, eyes brows still knitted together. This was worrying him now, what was he going to do…if he wasn’t going to be here. As much as he wanted to leave, he knew he couldn’t make it back to his own home by himself— They were probably going to be sticking him into some other place, which he did not want.

“No talk, huh? ☆” The boy snickered, pushing himself onto the glass, slender fingers slowly trailing up the window with a peculiar fascination. “Tamaki never mentioned anything about an Aquarium, you know~” There had to be some kind of catch to the Weasel’s plan. Deadman Wonderland simply didn’t have the capacity to expand at the moment, though saying that… A shark tank would be rather amusing! Batting the thoughts away with the wave of a hand he focused his attention back on the aquatic man.

“I… no, I wonder what’s in store for you!” He chuckled, still trying to catch the other’s attention. “After all… You’re quite the specimen~

The other could speak, he just chose not to. He didn’t like people in general— And there was no way he was going to waste his words on someone who looked as dangerous as the male standing on the other side of the glass now was he? There was a lot of weird people around here, but Adrian thought this guys took the trophy, well came close to it. And the tailed male probably was the same way to the other, being the most out of place there.

He still had his scaled and scarred up hands against the glass, shuddering slightly at the thought of what was going to happen to him. Adrian was scared, but he wasn’t going to let the others know that, even if they probably can see right through him already, which wouldn’t be much of a surprise. He wanted to speak back, but he felt like if he did, it would just make him more of an interest, and being cooped up in a cage was enough. He didn’t even want to think about what would happen if one were to figure out he could speak! But…if he kept going on like this speaking to him, then the tailed man would have no choice since he had always had a hard time keeping his words to himself.

His eyebrows knitted together as he still kept his hands pressed against the clear glass. There was a bit of hesitation there, he was sure the other could see it, since he wasn’t that hard to read, it was there, along with both fear and hate.
